The Company’s management team includes seasoned executives, each with over 30 years of business experience in the technology, IT security, document management and the financial services industries. The team has a demonstrated record of success in starting and managing high-growth businesses and building equity value as well as bringing emerging technologies to market effectively and cost efficiently.  Key management team members include:


Douglas H.  Trotter, President & CEO, is a senior business executive, entrepreneur, technologist, venture capitalist and strategic business consultant.  Mr. Trotter was a senior executive in the technology practice of A.T. Kearney, EDS and Booz•Allen & Hamilton.  He co-founded eOriginal, Inc. and is a Director of several e-commerce companies.  He was awarded five e-commerce patents and has three patents pending.  He became a Smithsonian Laureate (1998); a Johns Hopkins University Senior Fellow; a member of the Johns Hopkins National Advisory Council for the Whiting School of Engineering; a founding member of MIT’s Sloan Business School’s “Reinventing the Organization of the 21st Century”; a recipient of the NSA’s Meritorious Civilian Service Award; and was a member of the Intelligence Handling Subcommittee, U.S. Intelligence Board (1976-1982).  Mr. Trotter holds BS degrees with honors in mathematics and physics from the Indiana Institute of Technology and a MS from the Johns Hopkins University.  He is a graduate of the NSA’s National Senior Cryptologic Program and is a certified computer systems analyst, mathematician and cryptologist.

John Trotter, VP Operations and Manufacturing, is a seasoned executive combining over 40 years in operation management, sales and business development for companies like Becton, Dickinson, Bausch & Lomb, Computer Associates and Oracle Corporation. Mr. Trotter has domain expertise in verticals such as Maintenance Repair & Overhaul for complex equipment, Engineer to Order (Commercial & Aerospace & Defense), Customer Relationship Management (Media, Publishing & Entertainment) and Field Service Management (Telco’s & Utilities). Mr. Trotter has the ability to help organizations of all sizes to use the internet to build strong customer relationships while assisting an organization with improving their internal systems like CRM, Supply Chain and delivery systems in order to meet their customer’s current & future demands.  He is a graduate of the University of Baltimore with a BS in Production Management and an MS in Operations Management.


Darren Lacey, Special Security Consultant, has worked in the technology sector, as a developer, intellectual property attorney, consultant and executive.  He is the Chief Information Security Officer for Johns Hopkins and the Executive Director of the Johns Hopkins University Information Security Institute. Mr. Lacey is also a Board Member of Chesapeake Innovation Center, the NSA-supported incubator for Homeland Security technology start-ups. His primary interest areas are intellectual property, software patents and the development of secure information management systems. Mr. Lacey has a degree in logic and philosophy from Baylor University and a law degree from Harvard University.


Sean Patty, CFO, has a diverse and accomplished background in building value for emerging companies.   During the past decade, Mr. Patty has worked closely with early and middle stage technology companies in senior leadership roles and is well versed in corporate strategy, financial management, and acquisitions.  Among other ventures, he served as President/CEO of Cernium Corporation, a venture backed Technology Company that became the industry’s leading intelligent video company, and Chief Financial Officer with Angel Technologies Corporation, a high-tech wireless communications venture.  Mr. Patty graduated from Bethany College and earned an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business.  He also holds a Certified Public Accountant certificate and serves or has served on various charitable boards.
